A Slow Running PC

Solution There can be many reasons why your PC is slow:

1 - Older hard drive
2 - Not enough RAM
3 - Slow processor
4 - Fragmented hard drive
5 - Viruses/spyware
6 - Page file is too small (full hard drive)

Try these things:

A - Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com and scan/clean for viruses/spyware. It's a free scanner/cleaner.

B - Right click on your hard drive icon and select properties, then click on 'disk cleanup'. This will free up some disk space.

C - Run defrag on your hard drive.

Reboot, and see if it does not run a tad faster!
